Mount Sinai Hospital - 600 University Avenue
- Wheelchairs are available at the Murray Street entrance
- All entrances are accessible (note that this might be impacted by construction, check the construction updates for the latest information)
- Accessible washrooms are located throughout the hospital
- Wheel-trans TTC stop is located next to the Murray Street entrance
60 Murray Street Location
- Wheelchair access is available from the south entrance of the building
- Wheel-Trans TTC stop is located at the walkway at south entrance of building
700 University Avenue – Third Floor
Frances Bloomberg Centre for Women's and Infants' Health
- The main entrance is accessible and can be accessed from University Avenue
- All washrooms are wheelchair accessible
- Wheel-Trans TTC stop is located on University Avenue outside the main entrance
Communications devices (TTYs, Pocket Talkers and other assistive devices) are available to patients. As well, accessible telephones are available throughout the hospital.
If you require an assistive device, please inform the clinic/unit staff in advance of your visit and they will make the necessary arrangements.
To arrange for an interpreter who speaks your language (including sign-language), please inform the clinic/unit staff in advance of your visit to Mount Sinai and they will make the necessary arrangements.
You may also contact Interpreter services between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. at 416-461-8252 ext. 2121 or email [email protected]. There will be no charge for this service.

Service animals are generally welcome to accompany you to your appointments. Please inform the surgical pre-admission/ nursing unit in advance of your admission to ensure that your service animal can be accommodated, and that the appropriate arrangements are made. Please note, there may be situations where you will be asked to accommodate the use of your service animal. Learn more about Service Animal procedures.

On September 29, 2003, the Mount Sinai Hospital Board of Directors adopted the following "Accessibility Planning Policy" for the organization. Mount Sinai Hospital is committed to:
- the continual improvement of access to facilities, policies, programs, practices and services for patients and their family members, staff, health care practitioners, volunteers and members of the community;
- the participation of people with disabilities in the development and review of its annual accessibility plans;
- ensuring hospital by-laws and policies are consistent with the principles of accessibility; and
- The establishment of an Accessibility Working Planning Committee at Mount Sinai Hospital (see our Terms of Reference - PDF).
